VOICE LESSONS 2021 -2022 (VIRTUAL)
Ages: For ages 9-18
Start Date: Lessons start in October. We can reschedule for absences due to illness or family vacations.
Times: 30 and 45 min lessons available on a weekly or bi-weekly basis (you can choose)
Days: Let me know what day works for you best and I will give you my available time slots.
Price: weekly $45 - $50, Bi-weekly $55 - $60
Lessons begin with the initial VOICE Evaluation where we will talk about your vocal history and how I can best help you. I'll assess your voice to determine your vocal strengths and weaknesses in the current moment. Most importantly, I will create a custom vocal workout just for you! In online voice lessons, we’ll develop your vocal technique, build strength, agility, and power while avoiding vocal fatigue.
I’ll be playing scales on a keyboard, hitting the first chord, and then letting you sing. (This prevents lagging from online platforms.) First, we warm up with speech-level singing exercises and scale work. Lastly, we can work on songs that will challenge you. I will email accompaniment tracks to each of you so that you are able to play and sing your songs on your end rather than deal with a delay on my end. If you have an upcoming performance or audition, I will leave time to work on those songs and isolate sections that you need to work on, so you'll know exactly how to practice outside of our time together.

Musical Theater Summer Camp!
2022 DATES TBA
This summer, come to join us in exploring the world of singing, dancing, and acting!! Everyone will get their chance to SHINE! This Musical Theatre Summer Camp offers an exciting 2 weeks of comprehensive musical theatre training that promises to be engaging, challenging, and inspiring. AMTC (Annapolis Musical Theatre Company) recognizes each child’s talent and gives him or her the necessary building blocks to grow as a performer. The camp will include classes in voice, acting, and dance, with cutting-edge workshops that culminate in a final performance for family and friends. Campers will also get to learn set-building skills by creating all the sets for their final performance which will take place on the last day of camp. Campers, of all skill levels, begin by rotating through morning classes taught by our experienced teaching artists. While students learn and improve theatre-related skills in voice, dance, and acting, they also gain focus and discipline while exercising their mind and body. During afternoon rehearsals, students work toward their on-stage performance while building teamwork skills, a sense of accomplishment, and self-esteem. Most of all, they have fun while exploring the world of Musical Theater!
